Reimporting Drugs from Canada

Kerry and Edwards think that the answer to high drug costs is to import drugs from Canada. Even drugs that are produced in the US. Here's why that's a bad idea.

You can't run from the real reason that drug costs are so high. Much of it is artificially imposed by regulations and a Congressionally mandated monopoly. There is not one single answer to making health care more affordable. Also, you can't have the same plan fit all Americans.

I'll say it again - reduce regulations and allow the free market to work. Let Americans figure this out ourselves. We don't need yet another government boondoggle clogging up the system.
