How to Take a Bite Out of the Big Apple

When I travel I always look for savings. I often find it in the form of a CityPass.
When Doug and I ventured to London we bought a London Pass. It gained us free entry and the ability to skip the queue at many attractions we visited.
We did the same thing while in Dublin. With a small child in tow skipping the queue was essential.
Did you know there is a New York CityPass? And if you purchase now, during the winter special, it is valid for 3 months (from December 15-March 15). Instead of a card, the New Your CityPass is a 26 page booklet with admission tickets for The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum and the American Museum of Natural History. Also included is a trip to the top of the Empire State Building and a sightseeing cruise.
To help you get your bearings a small map is included that marks the location of each landmark. There are also coupons for souvenirs, a 15% off certificate for “Bloomies” and a 15% savings at any restaurant listed in the booklet.
The New York CityPass will save you 50% off admission and help you skip those long, long lines. The cost is $65 for adults and $49 for kids ages 12-17. Any time you can save money and time it’s a win-win situation. Trust me.
Doug and I are museum and gallery people so this booklet would be a definate "must get" if we were to visit the Big Apple.
If you have plans to visit New York this winter you will definately want to check this out.
