This is How My Day Begins?

With a screaming fight over a $10 dolly? At 6:45am? Really? How great is my day going to be? Ugh.
Caelan is getting quite bad about taking things that belong to Brenna. And throwing a tantrum when she doesn't get her way. I'm talking full fledged- throw herself on the floor- scream til I'm deaf tantrums. She's had two spankings already today- before 7:30am.
I'm not quite sure what to do about this. Brenna has a tendency to tease when she knows Caelan wants something and Caelan falls for it.
Or Caelan gets a hold of something that is Brenna's (and not something that "must be" shared) and won't give it back so Brenna tries to take it... Which leads to screaming and crying and "Mommy, Caelan won't give me my dolly!" at 6:45am.
Any advice? Please?

My kids have to share everything. The only time they're not allowed to take whatever it might be is if it was already in the other's hand. If they are fighting because the other took it right out of the other's hand, then they must ask for it back nicely, then if they don't give it back then it's time to come and tell Mom or Dad the situation. If there is any screaming, crying or fighting involved.. I simply take the toy away from them both.
Not really advice.. but it's what we do.
