I Should Know Better

>> Friday, August 15, 2008

I know that I feel my best when I'm in bed by 10pm and asleep shortly after. Then I can wake at 6am, walk the dog and get my day started before everyone else.

But last night I wanted to watch a couple new episodes of Psych. Seriously love this show. Funny, funny, funny. Of course I watch it online because we ditched the dish (either on the USA website or Hulu).

Last night's episode focused on Shawn & Gus' high school reunion and had a John Hughes "theme". Honestly, all the Brekafast Club, Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles references had me cracking up. Check it out...

So I stayed up watching that and didn't get to sleep until 11. And missed my wake up and didn't get out of bed until 7:30.

So now my day is "off" and I don't know what I should be doing. I haven't made a pot of tea yet, or had breakfast. I know there are things that need done but I am so off schedule I can't figure out what they are...

I'm having an off day too because I know better...

Staying up till 2am, then being rudely awoken by two screaming fighting and very evil children at 6:50am.. UGH

Ooh, I overslept too. Got up at 7:20 and had to get 2 kids ready for school all the while listening to my still-not-well almost-4-year-old whine and yell, "DON'T GO TO WORK!!" I say you should sit down, have a cup of tea, and write down everything you want to get done today. Then you can cross things off your list. I say this not because I do it myself but because I SHOULD do it. :)

I still have to get my stuff ready to scrapbook tomorrow night! And clean my house! It's going to be a late night at mi casa tonight...

That was a great Psych! I loved all of the references! I went to bed at 10:30. I had to get a crown today, and not the Princess kind like I deserve. It's really sore around the gum line. Frowny face.
