Leap Pad Plus Writing

Does anyone have this system? Because I bought a NEW book and cartridge today thinking it would work in the Leap system we have and it doesn't.
I did some research and this set sells for some major dough... I got it for $1 at a garage sale.
It's the Reading & Writing book & cartridge for the LeapPa Plus Writing set. If you want it let me know. I don't want to buy a new system (although birthdays are coming up...) and a single book isn't worth listing in eBay...

I have the Leap frog plus writing. It has now been passed down to my grandson.
I also have the Quantum Pad now passed down to my 4th grader.
Plus the Iquest (no longer made) but that goes to my 7th grader.
Leap frog makes good products and they last.
Yes--I would love the book and cartrage and if you come across any others let me know.
I have a thought--I would be more than happy to send these products your way as my grandkids grow out of them.
Elijah will not need the leap frog plus writing after this year etc...
Same with the Quantum pad.
I think that's what my son has... er... had? he broke it.. end of that.
Computers work just as good now :)
