Stop! Police!

>> Wednesday, June 27, 2007

“Roxanne….”

Sometimes I wonder just how many girls were named after that song. Even if it was about a prostitute. (It was, right? Or am I just getting the message wrong?)

You couldn’t be a child of the 80’s, as I was, and not know practically every song The Police put out. Who could forget the so catchily titled “De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da”? And didn’t everyone own “Synchronicity”?

After much denial by all involved, up until the official announcement, The Police have gotten back together. And you can find out all things “Police” with just one click.

It's like a one-stop Police shop. Want to see a video? Pick from some of their greatest tracks. Want to view the track list for the new two disk Police Cd? And with a click you can "plug in" to the jukebox and listen to some of the greatest cuts. Just gotta see The Police in concert? Tour info is at your fingertips.Or, if you feel lucky, enter the contest to see The Police at Madison Square Garden. Got a friend who still has her Police posters on the wall? Use the "send to friend" button- she'll thank you for it! And don't forget to download some ringtones to your phone. I'm thinking "Don't Stand So Close To Me" would be a good choice.

The Police were one of the most successful bands of all time. You still hear their stuff everywhere. And since they realease the new two disk Police Cd June 5th you'll probably be hearing it from every other car. Including mine. But, hey, stop mooching my music and go get your own! You also get a vintage Police poster. You can use it to make your friend jealous. Or, even better, buy two and give her one.

Please click on this to go and view an awesome banner where you can watch The Police's videos, listen to tracks from The Police's new 2 cd hits collection, enter to win a trip to NYC to see The Police in concert and even view details about their current world tour.
