Precious Moments Giveaway - This Contest Has Ended

>> Monday, December 01, 2008

A while back I gave away quite a few copies of the Precious Girl's Club book "A Little Bit of Faith". Now, thanks to Precious Moments and Mom Select, I have some more wonderful Precious Girls Club items to give away!

One lucky winner will receive all this:

The Faith musical water globe. Faith is the guardian angel only Katie and her dog, Patches, can see.
A charm bracelet. It comes with a rainbow and Precious Girls Club charms. Other charms are available for purchase.
A set of 3 friendship bracelets to give to friends.
And a Precious Girls Club web access code (I had one lying around and found it when I cleaned my desk!)
I am also including the latest Precious Moments catalog. It has a gorgeous Nativity on the cover.

The Precious Girls Club is a great interactive online area where girls can learn and remember just how special they are and the beauty of God's love. It's a great site.

Here's how you win:

Leave me a comment telling me your favorite childhood Christmas memory.

For an extra entry subscribe to Iowa Geek via email (you can do this near the top of the page in the right column). Leave another comment telling me you did so.

For a third entry either blog or twitter this contest. Leave another comment with the blog link or your twitter id so I can confirm this entry. (And be sure to follow me on Twitter : I am iatraveler)

Only three entries per person, please. Make sure I can easily find an email to contact you; I will not search for one. Contest ends Tuesday, December 9 at 11:59 pm. I will draw the winner on Wednesday December 10 in the morning. The winner will be contacted via email and will have 3 days to respond. If I do not hear back from the winner within that time another winner will be drawn.

My daughter would love this! My favorite Christmas memory was on Christmas Eve when I was about 7. My sister, cousin and I all got hand made pjs from our grandma and rollerskates from an aunt. We loved the gifts so much, we immediately changed out of our Christmas dresses and into the nightgowns completing the look with the roller skates! The 3 of us rolled around all night and slept together on the hide-a-bed couch with both still on!!!

My favorite memory was on Christmas eve we would go over to Grandma's house and have hot cider and fresh, warm glazed donuts and listen to Grandpa read The Night Before Christmas to us. Then we would go home hang up our stockings, leave cookies for Santa and get tucked into bed. But before we fell asleep there would be sleigh bells rattling across our windows. Later on we found out it was Grandpa doing that :) Such found and wonderful memories!

I subscribed through Google Reader. Thank-you so much for the wonderful giveaway. I know a little girl who would be so thrilled to wake up Christmas morning and open a present with this prize in it.

My favorite childhood memory would have to be attending Christmas Eve candlelight services with my family. All those candles glowing while the congregation sings "Silent Night". It still gives me shivers every year!
