There are 4 malls in the metro, three of which we may chance to visit.
All three have those nice play areas for kids... You know the ones with the coated hard-foam things to crawl in, on & around and the padded floors so the inevitable falls don't hurt so much... Like the stuff this place makes.
Anyway, all three play areas have one thing in common.
It's not a theme...
It's not size or shape.
It's not even their distance from the exit.
Care to guess what it is?
All of them are directly next to an Auntie Annie's Pretzel shop.
And the food courts are all at the opposite end of the mall.
Coincidence? I think not...

Same thing at the mall in Coralville (near Iowa City).
Pretzel place RIGHT next to the playplace. Food court, other end of the mall.
Funny, Jake and I were there on Sunday and walked past and he said, "Hey, that's where you always get those pretzels with cheese!"
And my mouth starting watering, just like it's doing right now.
I KNOW!!! What do they put on those pretzels??? YUM!
hmmmm, I can smell them from here!
