Recommended domestic policy changes

I started this post a few days ago and I meant to add some commentary. I might do so in the future as the start of the new year and the start of President Bush's second term makes this type of discussion very relavant. However [you had to know that this was coming], with all of the life events going on this holiday season, I'm going to leave you with a handful of links to domestic policy discussions by people who's job it is to know such things.
